The Role

  • Assist with manual handling, positioning, transfers, and use of specialist equipment
  • Support pupils on and off the floor and in different learning and sensory environments
  • Provide personal care and support with daily routines and activities
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and medical staff to follow care plans
  • Ensure pupils are safe, comfortable, and fully included in classroom activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with physical disability (PD) and complex needs
  • Manual handling experience and confidence with physical support
  • Physically fit, agile, and resilient – this is an active, hands-on role
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and medical awareness
  • Calm, patient, and emotionally robust approach
