Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Team Leader to oversee our cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. This role is essential in ensuring that our cleaning standards are met consistently while fostering a positive working environment.

Duties

  • Lead and manage a small team of cleaners, providing training, guidance and support to ensure high-quality cleaning services. Cleaning duties will be included as part of the position.
  • Conduct regular inspections of cleaning tasks to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or special requests regarding cleaning services while onsite.
  • Support with coordinating schedules and allocate resources efficiently to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are stocked and in good condition.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop new cleans and innovations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the cleaning industry or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • A valid driving licence and your own vehicle is essential for transporting team members or equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed. Usual hours are 9am-4.30pm however this can vary.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Reliable, honest and innovative.
