Alongside your day-to-day role, you'll complete a Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships, receiving expert-led training in dedicated learning blocks every 4–6 weeks. This structured programme will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and recognised qualification needed to build a successful career in business analysis while gaining valuable workplace experience.
In this role, you'll work towards your Level 4 Business Analyst qualification , delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships .
A Typical Day in the Job:
Gather and document business requirements by participating in workshops, interviews, observations, surveys, and research activities with clients and internal stakeholders.
Capture and map current business processes using Microsoft Visio (BPMN 2.0), while maintaining accurate documentation within Azure DevOps and SharePoint.
Support the analysis of business needs by helping develop solution options, documenting recommendations, and assessing associated risks, costs, and benefits.
Assist in managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining traceability, supporting change control processes, and ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date.
Help analyse, prioritise, and document both functional and non-functional requirements, including defining acceptance criteria and supporting MoSCoW prioritisation.
Work alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects to support stakeholder engagement, governance activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and operational readiness for project delivery.
Ensure all work is completed in line with company quality standards, project governance, regulatory requirements, and document management procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop an understanding of business analysis tools, methodologies, and best practices while supporting the successful delivery of client projects.
Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients, communicating confidently and professionally throughout project lifecycles.
Take an active role in your own learning and professional development, applying new knowledge gained through your apprenticeship into your day-to-day work.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
