Job Location: Somersetand Surrounding areas

Salary: £50K - plus Overtime & Package.

Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

Start Date: ASAP – Full time role.

Your Role
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and installing heating and gas systems for both domestic and commercial clients. You’ll deliver work safely and to the highest standard, ensuring clients’ homes and businesses remain safe and comfortable. Every day brings new challenges and the chance to make a real impact, all while working alongside a skilled and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct heating engineering and plumbing duties, including repairs, servicing, and installations.
  • Ensure all work is safe, compliant, and meets regulatory standards, including issuing notices and certificates.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines when servicing, repairing, or installing appliances.
  • Maintain accurate records of work and gas safety checks.
  • Source materials and equipment efficiently, liaising with approved suppliers.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 emergency support across our property portfolio.
  • Drive company vehicles responsibly and maintain them to a high standard.
  • Complete all required training and certifications to stay up to date with regulations.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and coordinators to plan, problem-solve, and deliver quality results.
