Duties

• Assist dental practitioners during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Support the preparation and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, including patient records and treatment notes, following HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient care by offering pre- and post-treatment instructions, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Learn and apply medical terminology relevant to dental practice to facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Help manage medical records systematically, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
• Support the administration of patient care activities, including taking vital signs and assisting with infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations while adhering to established protocols for anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in dental nursing or healthcare with a focus on patient care.
• Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £24,420.00-£38,428.54 per year
