Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Trainee Nurse to join our healthcare team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to develop a career in dental nursing. The successful candidate will support dental professionals in delivering high-quality patient care, gaining valuable experience in clinical procedures, and understanding the fundamentals of dental practice operations. Duties
- Assist dental practitioners during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Support the preparation and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, including patient records and treatment notes, following HIPAA regulations.
- Provide patient care by offering pre- and post-treatment instructions, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Learn and apply medical terminology relevant to dental practice to facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Help manage medical records systematically, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
- Support the administration of patient care activities, including taking vital signs and assisting with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations while adhering to established protocols for anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in dental nursing or healthcare with a focus on patient care.
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is required.
- Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach to patient interactions.
