Full Time – 4 Days Per Week
More2Childcare is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our nursery team as Unqualified Nursery Staff, working towards a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Applicants must have previous experience working in a similar field, such as childcare, health & social care, schools, care settings, hospitality, customer service or other people-focused environments, and be willing to begin a Level 3 Early Years pathway alongside employment. Alternatively you will have studied a similar field - early years, health and social care, psychology etc
This is not a Level 2 route — candidates must be academically capable of completing a Level 3 qualification alongside full-time work. The apprenticeship/pathway takes a minimum of 12 months to complete.
We would also like to hear from candidates who already hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care and are looking to begin a career in Early Years.
Important:
We are unable to sponsor candidates for UK work visas. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
Salary
- £8.25 per hour for school leaver apprentices
- £12.81 per hour for candidates with previous work experience and transferable skills
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for working with children
- Previous experience in a similar role or sector
- Good communication and written English
- Reliable, professional and willing to learn
- Ability to complete Level 3 coursework and professional documentation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Minimum Level 2 Functional Skills in English (or equivalent qualification)
GCSE Maths Grade 4/C or above is desirable.
Location Requirement
Due to the importance of punctuality and reliability, candidates should live within a one-hour commute of SE10 9EQ.
