Sales Assistant – Trespass, Magherafelt

Are you into the outdoors and good with people? Trespass is looking for a Sales Assistant to join the team at our Magherafelt store.

Contracted hours: 4 (up to 12 available per week)

Availability needed:
Flexible role within store working hours across 7 days. You won't be working all of these shifts, but you'll need to be available across:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9am – 5:30pm
  • Friday: 9am – 9pm
  • Saturday: 9am – 5:30pm
  • Sunday: 1pm – 5pm

This role requires flexibility across the week due to varying shift patterns.

What you'll be doing:

  • Greeting customers and helping them find the right gear for what they're doing
  • Getting to know the product range – clothing, footwear, and accessories – so you can give customers a straight answer
  • Helping the Store Manager with displays, stock levels, and keeping the shop floor in order
  • Working the till and handling cash and card transactions
  • Keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-stocked
  • Pulling together with the team to hit sales targets

What we're after:

  • Retail experience is a bonus, not a must
  • Good communication skills – you're comfortable talking to people
  • Genuine interest in the outdoors and willingness to learn about the gear
  • Flexible to work shifts across the week, including weekends
