Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fast Fit Technician to join our team. in our busy Livingston depot.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. As a Fast Fit Technician, you will be responsible for performing various vehicle services efficiently and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform automotive repairs and services
  • Diagnose issues with vehicles using mechanical knowledge and provide appropriate solutions
  • Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with depot manager regarding service needs and recommendations
  • Perform heavy lifting when necessary to facilitate repairs or part replacements

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service and repair
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive repair.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
