Accountable for leading, coaching and developing a team of Stores and logistics operators, ensuring that all stores & logistics-related activities are carried out IAW the relevant regulatory compliance and safety regulations, whilst also ensuring that HAECO’s systems, processes, policies and procedures are followed & adhered to.

Accountable for:

  • Ensuring all materials, parts & tooling inventory is managed and controlled, maintaining compliance with relevant systems and processes
  • Leading & coordinating tooling loans, repairs, inspections, maintenance, calibration, upgrades & modification activities with external suppliers
  • Coordinate the tool loan process from customer communication, inspection, dispatch ops & documentation, physical tool packaging & movement
  • Engage with freight forwarders to coordinate the delivery, dispatch and shipment of tooling, parts and materials
  • Lead & Support cost reduction initiatives/projects
  • Manage & co-ordinate stores & logistics operations vehicles (checks, servicing & repair)
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, international shipping & customs regulations, and company/customer procedures.
  • Allocation of resources in line with business requirements and shift patterns
  • Support Internal/external audits
  • Lead & support HAECO’s SMS investigations, near misses and audit findings to closure
  • Completion of compliance checks/safety walks to ensure that stores logistics standards are being maintained.
  • Lead & attend regular shift & team meeting to discuss current work environment, production, quality assurance and other work-related issues.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory data to align with financial accounting
  • Lead stock check and cycle counts
  • Lead & support continuous improvement projects
  • Tooling & materials are stored, packaged correctly in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements, ensuring serviceability to support both internal tasking & external tool loans.

  • Point of escalation for the stores & logistics officers

  • Communicate safety briefings to the stores & logistics team
  • Lead & drive actions to enable HAECO GES Safety targets and near-miss reporting
  • Lead & Investigate reports to address concerns relating to compliance, health and safety
  • Plan and execute processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the quality and safety standards of the workplace

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/engineering stores and logistics role
  • Knowledge or experience of aircraft or aero engine maintenance (EASA 145), stores & logistics is preferable
  • Computer systems and MS Office capable
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Familiarisation with AMOS or other MRP systems for tooling & inventory control is preferable
  • Forklift, tug driving, and crane operation approvals/experience are preferable

· Have the ability to work on a shift rotation, that including weekends and bank holidays
