About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our growing team in Nelson. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working on a variety of upholstery projects, from repairs to custom work. Working hours Monday-Thursday 7am-5m

Key responsibilities

  • Upholstering and re-upholstering furniture to a high standard
  • Measuring, cutting, and fitting fabrics, foams, and materials
  • Repairing frames, springs, and padding where required
  • Working with a range of fabrics and materials
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as an upholsterer (commercial or residential)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Trade qualification preferred but not essential for the right person
