Full job description

Long Acres Gardens specialises in border design, garden renovation and ongoing maintenance. We are seeking an assistant gardener to help maintain our customer's gardens, helping with all aspects of garden maintenance, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, topiary, pruning and border development. We offer career development, training courses and RHS qualifications.

As a garden maintenance company, our market is maintaining grounds and landscaping to a very high standard. With 90% of our work coming from recommendation and repeat business, customer satisfaction is vitally important to us.

As a gardener, you should be a hard worker, show a willingness to learn and be able to pick up new skills quickly. You will be able to follow directions from the team leader and be able to work well with the other members of the onsite team, who work to a high standard. You will show an eagerness to gain good knowledge in plant husbandry and garden maintenance.

You will be at the main base for 7:30am (Redditch), Monday to Friday we aim to leave the last job at 4pm.

The salary is based upon experience and will increase as you gain knowledge and skills.

RHS Qualification’s are also an option going forward.
