A Leadership Role That Will Shape the Future of Farm Veterinary Care in West Wales
As we unite three well-established, highly respected large animal practices — The Oak, Priory Vets and Steffan Vets — we are creating a new, modern, forward-thinking farm veterinary service. To lead it, we’re looking for a Group Farm Practice Manager to unify teams, streamline ways of working, champion high standards of service, and build strong relationships with our farming communities. You will work closely with the Area Director and Clinical Director(s) to ensure operational excellence and a positive, high-performing culture.
This is a growth, innovation and change-driven role. It’s a rare opportunity to build something lasting, for our teams, our farmers and the future of farm veterinary care in West Wales.
This is a full time role, 5 days per week.
Proud to Be Part of IVC Evidensia

With over 2,500 clinics and hospitals in 20 countries and around 41,000 employees, we work together to care for around 25,000 animals every day. United by a shared purpose - Healthy Animals, Happy Owners - we’re proud to champion long-term animal health and welfare through the dedication of every individual across our international network.

  • Lead and unify teams across three sites, ensuring strong communication, collaboration and staff wellbeing.

Client & Community Engagement
  • Act as the visible lead for the farm service across West Wales.
  • Build relationships with farmers, suppliers and partners, and support client events and community engagement.

Commercial & Operational Management
  • Manage all non-clinical operations, including P&L oversight, cost control, invoicing and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance, and oversee stock, equipment, fleet and premises.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives.

Service Quality & Delivery
  • Standardise processes and service levels across sites.
  • Ensure effective scheduling and OOH coordination.
  • Monitor performance and client feedback to drive improvement.

Strategic Collaboration
  • Work with senior leadership to shape long-term direction and deliver change initiatives.
  • Help build a modern, resilient and competitive farm service.
About You
  • A confident and inspiring leader with excellent people skills
  • Calm, organised and resilient in fast-paced environments
  • Commercially minded with a strong grasp of data, KPIs and financial performance
  • Passionate about agriculture and the farming community
  • Comfortable challenging outdated processes and driving improvement
  • Visible, hands-on and happy to meet clients and visit farms
  • Skilled at unifying teams through communication, clarity and trust
  • A self-starter who enjoys autonomy and responsibility
Experience in veterinary, agricultural, rural business or large-team leadership is beneficial but not essential.
