At Creature Comforts, we are transforming the veterinary experience. With thoughtfully designed clinics and purpose built in house technology, we are making access to care seamless, enjoyable and part of everyday life. Our mission is to create a calm and welcoming space for pets, their owners and our teams.

We are now looking for a Float Practice Host to support across our growing network of clinics in London. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is confident working in new settings, and wants to be part of a company that truly puts people and pets first.

Job Requirements

  • A genuine love for animals and people
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence to work across multiple locations and adapt quickly
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new systems quickly and confident using technology as part of day-to-day work
  • A calm and friendly manner, even when things get busy
  • Willingness to travel across London and Hertfordshire clinics

Welcome every guest

  • Greet clients and pets warmly and help create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere
  • Ensure everyone feels cared for from the moment they walk through the door

Client communication

  • Answer phone calls and emails with confidence and a helpful attitude
  • Schedule appointments, manage the clinic diary and send reminders
  • Provide clear and supportive information about our services and treatments

Support pet owners

  • Help owners with bookings and make sure client details are accurate
  • Explain treatment plans and follow up instructions with care and empathy
  • Be a reassuring presence during visits

Keep things running smoothly

  • Maintain a clean and inviting reception area
  • Manage payments and billing with accuracy
  • Keep client records up to date and confidential
  • Ensure the clinic is always presented to the highest cleaning standards, including communal and client facing areas
  • Comfortable encouraging pet owners to leave positive reviews and recommend us to their friends!

Work as part of the wider team

  • Support veterinary surgeons, nurses and clinic managers with day to day needs
  • Help with clinic events and community initiatives
  • Step in where needed to ensure smooth operations across sites
