Full job description

We are currently searching for 1 new small animal veterinary surgeons to join our brand new state-of-the-art independent veterinary practice based in central Manchester.

We are a team of hard working & enthusiastic professionals that care deeply for animals.

Facilities include:

. 3 Consultation suites

. Full onsite laboratory

. X Ray Suite

. Dental Suite

. 2 state-of-the art surgical theatres

. Separate Cat and Dog waiting rooms

. Showers/changing rooms/Kitchen/breakout etc etc

At our practice you can expect from a usual working day, a mixture of ops including your routines to emergency ops including caesareans and routine consultations including vaccines boosters at 10 minute appointments and 30 minutes for euthanasia’s, complex cases including 2nd opinions.

During your day you will get time out to chase outstanding cases, report lab results to clients and a 1 hour luncheon break.

You will be supported by a vibrant team including nurses, receptionists and support staff, we will allocate time for catch ups with the team and to sign cases over when staff finish their shift for the day.

  • £35000 - £80000 dependant upon experience & qualifications
  • 40 hours per week including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
  • 7 weeks holiday a year
  • Birthdays off
  • VDS and RCVS fees paid, CPD fees included as we encourage development and certificates
  • no OOH
