Full job description

A small but growing Accountancy practice are seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant due to growth. This firm is becoming established and can offer a varied scope of work in a relaxed and friendly working environment. This is a newly created role due to growth and has plenty of potential for development with the business.

The role is initially offered 1 days per week on a 6 month contract. This is expected to increase as the firm grows with a view to increasing to a Permanent role 2 days per week after 6 months if successful.

The role will be based in the office due to the close working with other team members.

Key to the role is developing and converting leads into new business via inbound marketing channels.

You will understand Marketing concepts and Strategy, being able to help develop a Marketing plan and implement it in line with the firms brand guidelines.

You will work with the Business Development Coordinator who undertakes Workshops, Events and Training for Clients in addition to managing the Sales process.

You will be assisting in creating content in various forms (including Video) to share across Social Media platforms and generate interest in the firm's services, interacting with potential clients and ascertaining their needs, to develop relevant content.

The role is largely self-managed but you will be required to present reports and discuss progress with Director on a regular basis.

You must have prior experience in a similar role.

Typical duties will include:

  • Content creation for Website, Social Media and general marketing literature using brand guidelines
  • Developing resources such as Case Studies, Brochures, Blogs and Call To Action resources
  • Scheduling posts on Social Media and sharing into Facebook Groups
  • Assistance in developing marketing plan and firm strategy
  • Lead generation
  • Updates to our Website in Wordpress and SEO Keyword Analysis

Attention to detail is key along with great oral and written communication skills.
