Videographer / Social Channels Manager / Content Creator

Must live in the north east of England - preferably Stockton-On-Tees area.

About Us

Pocket Sergeant is a multi award-winning mobile app supporting police officers, legal professionals, and frontline workers across the UK. We’re expanding our content output through podcasts, video campaigns, and social media, and we’re looking for a creative, hands-on videographer and content creator to join us as we grow.

The Role

We’re looking for a North East-based videographer and content creator who can do it all – film, edit, animate, and manage content across all major social channels.

You’ll work on multiple brands and projects under the Pocket Sergeant umbrella – from podcast production and event coverage to short-form ads and even a documentary project. This role is ideal for someone multi-talented, motivated, and looking for variety.

What You’ll Do

- Film and edit video podcasts, using Riverside.fm

- Create short-form video content from podcasts for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn

- Design and animate motion graphics to enhance video content

- Produce video adverts for our digital products and app features

- Manage and schedule video across TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

- Attend and film occasional in-person events and podcast sessions (including some weekends)

- Work on creative storytelling projects, including a short documentary

What You’ll Bring

- Based in the North East of England and able to travel locally

- Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent)

- Confident using Riverside.fm and similar remote podcasting platforms

- Experience with motion graphics / animation tools (After Effects, Canva, or similar)

- Ability to film high-quality content with good lighting, sound, and framing

- Experience managing social video across platforms (YouTube, TikTok, IG, FB, LinkedIn)

- Creativity, initiative, and a great eye for engaging video

- A portfolio or showreel showcasing a range of content styles

- Bonus: interest in documentary storytelling, crime/legal topics, or tech-for-good work

What We Offer

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (based on experience)

Holiday: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)

Flexible working hours and hybrid/remote setup

Travel and accommodation covered for all filming/event duties

Creative freedom and genuine ownership of your role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
