The Role

We’re looking for a Finance Director to join our FP&A Finance team. This role will own the consolidation of forecasts and budgets for the Candle Group

This is a hands-on and highly visible role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to partner with senior leaders to drive financial performance and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own group planning, budgeting, forecasting and long range modelling
  • Create high impact models that simplify complexity and drive decisions
  • Lead all data, reporting and systems improvements across finance and BI
  • Partners include Group CFO, Snr Director of Accounting, PE firm.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Organisations within the group are US based, the Director will be required on occasions to sync with US partners in the evenings
  • This role has no direct reports

Preferred qualifications include

  • Qualified accountant with strong modelling and analytical skills
  • +5 years of experience in commercial finance or FP&A
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with PowerPoint and financial planning tools
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Hands on delivery mindset with the ability to step up and think commercially
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
