Night Senior Care Assistant (£1,000 Welcome Bonus*)
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Service: Astley View Care Home
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00 per hour + Overtime paid at £16.50 per hour
Hours: 8pm – 8am, on a two-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

At Astley View Care Home, we're seeking a compassionate and motivated night Senior Care Assistant to support our care team in delivering exceptional person-centred care to residents living with a range of needs, including dementia.

Working alongside the management team, you'll lead by example, mentor Care Assistants, administer medication, support care planning, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained throughout every shift.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our management team by guiding our amazing team of Care Assistants in the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care to our residents.

About the Role:

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a key leadership role within the home, supporting and guiding our Care Assistants to deliver exceptional, person-centred care throughout the night. You'll lead by example, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and dignified support while maintaining the high standards Evermore Care is known for.

You'll be responsible for administering medication, monitoring residents' wellbeing, responding appropriately to changes in their needs, and updating care documentation as required. Working closely with the wider management team and healthcare professionals, you'll help create a positive environment where residents can thrive and team members feel supported to deliver their very best.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant who is passionate about dementia and elderly care and is looking to further develop their leadership skills within a modern, award-winning care home.

Experience Required:

  • Proven leadership or mentoring experience in an elderly care or dementia care setting.
  • Experience in providing outstanding person-centred care.
  • Achieved or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
