Job Advert

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Advisor to join our Virtual School team, supporting young people in Key Stages 4 and 5, with a particular focus on Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) and other vulnerable learners.


About the Role

  • As an Education Advisor, you will champion the educational progress and achievement of young people in care and previously looked after children, ensuring they receive high quality, personalised education.
  • You will provide expert guidance and targeted support to schools, colleges, and social care professionals on effective strategies for supporting KS4 and KS5 learners and UASC.
  • Monitor and track attendance, attainment, and progression to identify barriers and interventions.
  • Work closely with designated teachers, social workers, and post 16 providers to develop individual education plans and transition pathways.
  • Deliver training and raise awareness around the educational needs and experiences of UASC and post 16 learners.
  • Contribute to the Virtual School’s strategic priorities and statutory responsibilities.


This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work both in the office and at home.
