Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while providing exceptional service to our guests. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
  • Handle customer queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant roles is desirable but not essential
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
  • Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
  • Must be aged 18 or over to serve alcohol legally
