Full job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker ideally with complex care experience. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting a lady with a spinal injury in her own home on a 1;1 basis. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a respectful and dignified manner. Please note that this is in all-female team.
The role is for 36 hours per week (7.30am-7.30pm). Full UK Driving Licence is also essential.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support with domestic duties around the home and meal preparation
- Administer medication and ensure the safety of clients at all times. .
- Maintain accurate records of client care following the Company's policies and procedures.
- Support our client in engaging in social activities .
Skills
- Experience in patient care, particularly within home care settings.
- Knowledge of complex care
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently when required.
- Compassionate approach towards care, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
