Job Opportunity – Warehouse Assistant at our Manchester Depot

Broughton Plant Hire & Sales is looking to recruit a full-time permanent person to work in our warehouse to help ensure adequate equipment is ready for hire and help loading, unloading and moving stock

Hours of work - 7am to 4.30pm

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting with deliveries by loading and unloading goods in and from delivery vans
  • Ensure hire feet is maintained and repaired to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose and available for hire
  • Identify and document any faults or defects found during testing
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing activities
  • General cleaning and maintenance to ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy
  • Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practises

Key job requirements

  • Enthusiastic and hardworking
  • Physically fit and willing to engage in physical work
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in warehouse operations is desirable
  • Hard working, punctual, flexible and self motivated.
