Full job description

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent electrical wholesaler with 7 branches and a Renewables division located across Sussex and Kent.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our fast-paced and thriving team at our Whitstable branch in Kent. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and ambitious with driving experience to support the smooth running of a busy electrical wholesale branch.

The ideal candidate will have previous electrical wholesale experience.

- Deliver goods to site/customers.

- Load and unload vans & lorries in a safe and efficient manner.

- Receive/process shipments.

- Put stock away.

- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation.

- Always keep warehouses clean and tidy.

- Serving customers over the trade counter

- Answering customer queries over the telephone

A Full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Working hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday

Starting salary will be from the National Living Wage appropriate for your age; however, this is negotiable depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £28,571.40 per year

Work Location: In person
