Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. As a Courier, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations, contributing to customer satisfaction through prompt service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines.
  • Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all packages are handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any issues encountered during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Qualifications

  • Previous delivery driver experience is essential; experience as a <PERSON> driver is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is preferred.
  • Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; knowledge of local roads and routes is advantageous.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, enabling effective handling of goods.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading deliveries.
