Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Liverpool Head Office
Hours: 4 days out of 7 (flexible to cover extended operating hours)

Due to growing demand for our services, we are expanding our team at our head office in Liverpool.

The Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse supervisor to support and enhance the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing workflows, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards of efficiency, safety, and customer service.

This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and will act as their deputy when required, working closely with other departments to ensure the seamless fulfilment of orders.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including picking, packing, goods in, goods out, and dispatch
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time
  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet operational demands
  • Support stock control, inventory accuracy, and space utilisation

Team Supervision

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse operatives, pickers and drivers
  • Allocate daily tasks and priorities
  • Support training, onboarding, and development of warehouse staff
  • Conduct basic performance monitoring and provide feedback

Process & Compliance

  • Ensure warehouse procedures and company policies are followed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with drivers, customer service, and management teams

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a supervisory role
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • FLT licence (counterbalance/reach)
  • First aid or health & safety training
