Full job description

Join our friendly and award-winning team at Kilts 4 U in Hillington! We work in a lively environment that’s fast-paced and fun, and we’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, quality, and accuracy to join us.

We’re on the lookout for someone to help out with a variety of duties, including:

- Picking stock from our garment pick list

- Conducting quality checks and inspections before dispatching orders

- Unpacking returned stock and putting it away correctly

- Ensuring orders are accurate for other locations

- Assisting where needed across different parts of the operation

- Working as part of a supportive team

- Interacting with customers regarding the return of hires

- Keeping your work station tidy and hazard-free, in line with Health and Safety guidelines

We welcome applicants with experience in warehouse work, garment cleaning, quality control, or the clothing industry. Don’t worry if you’re new – full training will be provided!

Key skills and qualities we’re looking for include:

- A great eye for detail

- A friendly, professional, and approachable manner

- Good organisational skills

- Ability to work well with others

- Sewing skills are a bonus

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Knowledge of garment cleaning processes is a must

- Understanding different fabrics and how to handle them with care

- Flexibility to work on Sundays

We’re offering a competitive rate of pay, starting with a temporary contract, with the possibility of securing a permanent one after a successful 12-week probation period.
