Schedule:
Sunday - Friday with a day off during the week. 8.00pm - 5.00am with flexible finish if all tasks are completed. 45 hours a week.

As the Warehouse Assistant Manager you will be accountable for the safe and efficient operational control of the warehouse.
A crucial figure in the running of the depot, interacting with departments and directly managing the warehouse staff daily whilst working well alongside collogues to achieve department goals.
To recruit, motivate and organize a large team, with responsibility for their training and development.
Identifying deficiencies on the shift that negatively impact operational, health & safety and food safety standards.
Dealing with all aspects of staffing needs including rotas and holiday.
Helping the team with picking, loading and shunting vehicles to make sure everyone is working together and the van leave on time and correct.
Making sure orders are picked accurately for customers orders.
Moving stock around the warehouse safely using pump trucks and forklifts.
Making sure all workplaces are clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Supporting the team to ensure timely operations and a smooth running of the shift.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with a solid work ethic, someone who can lead by example and a reliable, team-focused attitude.
Physically fit and happy to be on the move throughout your shift.
Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments (appropriate PPE is provided).
Attention to detail — you know the small things make a big difference to our customers.
Previous experience in a similar supervisor role is helpful but not essential.
Qualifications Needed:
Forklift license is helpful but not essential.
