Junior / Mid-Level Web Developer – Laravel / PHP

Full-Time | Office-Based with Future Hybrid Potential
£25,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience

Talent Link Recruitment is recruiting for a Junior to Mid-Level Web Developer to join a growing business and support the ongoing development and improvement of its web platforms.

This role would suit someone with practical Laravel/PHP experience who is looking to continue developing their technical skills within a hands-on environment. You’ll work across both back-end and front-end development as part of a smaller team, with the opportunity to take ownership of projects as your experience grows.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Building and improving web applications using Laravel
  • Developing responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Maintaining and updating existing websites and applications
  • Working with WordPress
  • Troubleshooting bugs and resolving technical issues
  • Working with MySQL databases
  • Using Git for version control
  • Testing websites across different browsers and devices
  • Supporting the rollout of new features and functionality

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone at Junior to Mid-Level who already has practical development experience and is confident working with:

  • Laravel / PHP
  • HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • WordPress
  • MySQL
  • Git
  • Responsive development using Bootstrap or Tailwind

Experience with React, Vue.js, REST APIs, NPM, Linux or SEO would be beneficial but is not essential.

You should also have good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the confidence to work independently while continuing to learn and develop within the team.

Package

  • £25,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00am–5:30pm Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm
  • Performance bonus scheme

  • Office-based initially, with potential for hybrid working in the future
