Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Support Workers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those they care for, whether in a nursing home, hospice care setting, or through home care services. Your commitment to patient care will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients.

Duties
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Preparing meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Assisting with heavy lifting when necessary to support clients with mobility challenges.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
  • Driving clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to care.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when required.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality support and care tailored to individual needs.
