About The Role

We are recruiting a skilled and versatile Welder Fabricator to join our maintenance team. The position involves working on a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement projects, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality workmanship at all times.
The candidate will work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication of metal components (steel, stainless
    steel, aluminium) using MIG, TIG, and other processes as required.
  • Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, structural steel, and other plant assets.
  • Fabricate custom parts and assemblies from raw materials based on specifications.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other team members on
    larger projects.
  • Document work performed and materials used
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.


About You

Desired Skills & Knowledge:
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in welding & fabricating.
  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment.
  • Valid driving licence (if site travel is required).
  • Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques; experience with stick (SMAW) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of metal properties, welding safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
