Overview

We are seeking dedicated Event Cleaning Operatives to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various event locations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-orientated, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in event cleaning work is advantageous, but not essential, as on the job training will be provided. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of event spaces, including offices, toilets, rubbish removal , litter picking.
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, bins, toilets and fixtures
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning operations
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
  • Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes

Skills

  • Experience in EVENT cleaning or janitorial work is preferred, but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending throughout the shift
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
