Are you a passionate, dedicated, and experienced residential care professional ready to step into leadership or take on your next challenge?

At BKY Care, we are seeking a Deputy Manager to bring their knowledge, experience, and leadership skills to our established therapeutic children’s home in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence, guide, and support both staff and young people, ensuring the highest standards of care while fostering a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.

We are committed to delivering trauma-informed, therapeutic care that genuinely changes lives. Our homes follow the proven PACE model, creating an environment where children feel safe, understood, and supported to achieve their dreams and ambitions.

As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in embedding therapeutic practice across the home, supporting staff to build strong, trusting relationships with young people, and ensuring consistent, high-quality care. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, lead by example, and help shape the future of the service.

Full training is provided, including fully funded DDP training and qualification, delivered by our in-house Training Manager.

Requirements

To take the next step, you must:

  • Hold a full manual UK driving licence
  • Hold a Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience working in children’s residential homes
  • Be resilient, motivated, and positive, with the ability to embrace challenges
  • Have an open-minded approach to working within a therapeutic environment
