Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning when required
- Ensure all areas are maintained in a neat and organised manner throughout the shift
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Skills
- Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
