About Us

Southern Doors is a established growing family business supplying & installing garage doors, front doors & associated products in the South of England. We strive to offer quality products with a high level of personal, friendly, customer care.

Role Overview

We are looking for up to 2 full-time Surveyor Salespersons to visit our clients properties to measure doorways, offer clear advice, and provide quotations to occupiers and property owners. Your area of operation will be throughout Kent and the neighboring counties.

Location: Kent, Sussex, or Surrey based

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a face-to-face role involving travel by car
  • Ability to take & record accurate measurements and survey notes
  • Assessing suitability of products for installation in the doorway
  • Offering clear and unambiguous product advice
  • Produce quotations and ensure client understand the options
  • Follow up quotations through to close the sale

About you - essential

  • Must enjoy meeting new people from all cultures and walks of life.
  • Be personable & outgoing - Love dealing with customers and helping them get what they want
  • Be able to demonstrate practical / hands-on aptitude / competence and understanding
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members.
  • Valid driving license is essential; experience driving company vehicles is advantageous.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Garage Doors / Front Doors / Awnings
  • Previous industry experience
  • Surveying experience
  • Installer experience
