Full job description

About The Role

We are looking for a General Showroom Manager in waiting to join the team in the Central Scotland area and become a part of the leading UK Kitchen Retailer. You will be influential in helping to build high achieving design teams across multiple showrooms in your designated area. Once fully trained and an opportunity arises, there will be the potential to take on the exciting responsibility of managing your own showroom!
We offer a basic salary of £34,900 plus bonus, OTE £52K!

What Wren offer:

  • World-class training on our products, systems, and sales processes, including a one-week residential course at our Academy in Barton-upon-Humber
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Commission paid during annual leave
  • Eye care vouchers
  • EE discount
  • Refer-a-friend scheme
  • Staff discount after your first year
  • Fantastic business-wide opportunities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Train and work with experienced managers in some of our showrooms of excellence, learning the fundamentals of managing a Wren Kitchens showroom.
  • Work with both General Managers and Assistant Managers to become a well-rounded Wren manager
  • Drive sales to meet and exceed year-on-year showroom targets whilst maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge:
  • Significant experience gained in a big-ticket retail environment with £multi-million targets
  • A sales-driven approach with a proven track record of success
  • Passionate about coaching and developing your team
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service

Applicants for this role who are offered employment will be subject to a basic criminal record check from the Disclosure & Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. However, a criminal record will not necessarily disqualify a candidate. Each case will be assessed individually, taking into account the nature of the offence and its relevance to the role applied for.

About The Company

Wren Kitchens is the largest kitchen retailer in the UK, with over £1billion turnover, more than 100 UK showrooms and an exciting expansion into the USA. We don’t just sell kitchens - we manufacture, deliver and install them too.

If you can match our passion to grow our business and exceed customer expectations in a competitive sales environment, you’ll be rewarded by a company that recognises talent with exceptional earning potential and company-wide opportunities to progress.
