Shift: 08:00 to 16:00 (daylight hours during winter)

£12.57

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain Yard Cleanliness: Regularly remove debris, trash, and waste materials to keep the area tidy and safe.
  • Load/Unload Cardboard & plastic bales onto trailer bed with a clamp truck.
  • Sort and Stack pallets. Load/Unload stacks of pallets onto trailer bed with forks.
  • Manually sort & fill ROROs and skips with single waste types such as Wood, Metal, Carboard, Plastic and General
  • Follow health and safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards.
  • Liaise with operations regarding any required collections / waste transfers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Counterbalance license with forks and clamp attachments essential. (if you want to train them up for this, that is fine)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Methodical and organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
