Leader Group is proud to be partnering with a renowned Therapeutic Education Service provider to recruit a passionate Math's Teacher. We currently have an outstanding opportunity available within a new SEN School opening soon in Bolton.

About the Role:

To specialise in leading and delivering Math's up to GCSE level to KS3 and KS4 aged pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Math's Teacher that has experience teaching pupils with ASC and additional behavioural needs to join a specialist team within a new school opening in September 2026. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
  • Teach pupils aged KS3 and KS4.
  • Delivering engaging and tailored Maths lessons to individual learning needs.
  • Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
  • Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.

Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with students with SEND needs.
  • Specialism in teaching Maths is essential.
  • Experienced – ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar setting supporting pupils with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and additional needs. Including mainstream schools.
  • Qualified – QTS is essential.
  • Understands EHCPs and autism-informed practice.
  • Calm, organised and passionate about teaching and making a difference.
