Do you have a calm, confident presence and a natural ability to engage energetic children through movement and activity?
Are you motivated by making a difference for pupils who need structure, consistency, and an active approach to learning?
Aspira Education are recruiting a School Sports Coach to work with a Year 4 pupil with severe ADHD on a 1-1 basis in a primary school setting in Gainsborough. The pupil responds extremely well to movement breaks, outdoor activities, and sports-led strategies to help regulate attention and behaviour.
This is a 5 day per week placement working either 8.30am – 1.30pm or 11-3.30pm.
Please do not apply if you cannot commit to these hours Monday–Friday.
About the Role
As a School Sports Coach (Behaviour Support) you will:
- Support the pupil 1-1, using sports, movement breaks, and structured activities to help regulate energy and re-engage with learning.
- Build strong, trusting relationships through consistency, calm communication, and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to maintain predictable routines and safe, supportive environments.
- Help the pupil develop resilience, confidence, and a sense of achievement through active, hands-on strategies.
- Work in an inclusive school environment where every day brings opportunities to make a real impact.
