We are looking for a passionate and reliable Artisan Baker to join our growing bakery team in Cumbria.

Please note this is a 4am start and you will be working in an experienced team with key skills being the mixing, moulding and baking of artisan bread and croissants. Full training and induction will be given.

Key Responsibilities

  • Weighing and scaling ingredients accurately
  • Mixing doughs using artisan baking methods
  • Moulding and shaping breads by hand
  • Baking a variety of artisan breads to a high standard
  • Packing and preparing products for dispatch and retail
  • Supporting the production of croissants, viennoiserie, and confectionery items
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Working efficiently as part of a friendly bakery team

Requirements

  • Previous bakery experience preferred
  • Being able to start 4am shifts & work weekends (no public transport at this time)
  • Knowledge of artisan bread production techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and consistency
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • To be flexible with shifts and working overtime
