Trainee Service Coordinator – Futures Together (Mid and North Essex)

30 hours per week - Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027

We are looking for an enthusiastic and community-focused Trainee Service Coordinator to support the social inclusion element of the Futures Together service across Mid and North Team.

Futures Together combines the expertise of Essex Phoenix Futures’ Criminal Justice and Social Inclusion services to provide meaningful support, opportunities, and positive outcomes for the people we work with.

About the Role

As Service Coordinator, you will:

  • Develop and deliver innovative social inclusion activities and groups.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers and peer mentors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local community organisations and partners.
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage with social inclusion opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Futures Together team to improve outcomes for those using the service.

About You

We are seeking an individual who is:

  • Passionate about social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Motivated to support people to achieve positive change.
  • Confident in building partnerships and working with diverse communities.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
