Through our tailored approach, we help students build confidence, engage with learning, and achieve academic success.

Who We Need: We are looking for passionate and dedicated educators who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. If you have experience working with students with SEND, a patient and adaptive teaching style, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences, we would love to hear from you.

  • Deliver sessions in-person or online, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.
  • Work closely with families, schools, and local authorities to ensure effective support.
  • Implement safeguarding practices and ensure student well-being.

Why Join Study Mind? ✔ Flexible Working Hours – Work around your schedule with a range of daytime and after-school tutoring opportunities. ✔ Competitive Pay – Earn between £25 - £35 per hour, based on experience and student requirements. ✔ Professional Development – Access training and development opportunities to enhance your skills. ✔ Supportive Network – Join a community of educators dedicated to improving outcomes for SEND students. ✔ Make a Real Impact – Help transform the lives of students who struggle in mainstream education.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEND.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to create structured, engaging, and adaptable learning plans.
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.

Desirable but Not Essential:

  • Specialist knowledge of autism, ADHD, dyslexia, PDA, SEMH, or other additional needs.
  • Training in safeguarding, de-escalation techniques, or mental health support.
  • Experience with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle (for in-person tuition).

How to Apply: If you are passionate about education and want to make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you! Click ‘Apply Now’ and submit your CV and cover letter detailing your experience and suitability for the role.
