Full job description

Do you feel you want a career that makes a difference in the world? Your care can make a world of difference to many young disadvantaged children that need your care and support.

We provide extensive support, training and access to qualifications to help you grow and develop in your career and you will receive a salary of between £31,758 and £34,685 per annum. Once you have completed your qualifications you will receive a pay rise and have the opportunity to become a senior care worker.

Senior qualified staff members have a great career path into management, if desired, including a full development plan that includes all the training and support for a fulfilling career.

You will be required to work shifts; 2 days on, with a sleep in between shifts then 3 days off. In addition to the competitive salary, you will get a number of benefits:

We provide comprehensive training for all new staff and as an unqualified staff member you will be required to complete an appropriate level 3 diploma within your first two years of employment or if you are already qualified and wish to move to the next stage then we provide the necessary training and qualifications to become the next managers.

All applicants must be:

  • 21 years or older
  • have a full UK driving licence and have a car available for work purposes with business use insurance
  • You will be required to complete an application form as part of our commitment to Safer Recruitment
  • In addition, successful applicants will be required to hold an enhanced DBS check
