Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. This role involves providing personalised instruction across Math, English and Sciences, fostering a positive learning environment, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or students requiring education support. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while developing your teaching skills within a supportive organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customised tutoring sessions tailored to each student's learning style and requirements
  • Assist students with understanding subject material, homework, and exam preparation
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents where appropriate
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes confidence and motivation
  • Adapt teaching strategies for students with special educational needs or learning difficulties
  • Maintain organised records of sessions and student achievements

Experience

  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working with children or young learners is essential
  • Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
  • Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple students and sessions effectively
