Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across this commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, and other commercial areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and used correctly
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities
  • Follow established health and safety procedures at all times to protect oneself and colleagues
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning protocols and confidentiality

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
  • Good organisational skills and reliability
  • Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment
  • Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts as required

Schedule:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings
