Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role is essential in providing high standards of service and cleanliness, contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents or guests.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in an orderly manner.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with laundry services as required, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with residents or guests, addressing any concerns or requests professionally.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance cleaning techniques and knowledge of products used.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous but not mandatory.
