Full job description

We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Waiting Staff, Kitchen Porters, and Bartenders to join our dynamic team at Lingfield Racecourse.

You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service during a range of exciting race days, corporate events and private functions throughout the year.

Whether you're serving guests in hospitality suites, supporting the kitchen team, or mixing drinks behind the bar, you’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team committed to creating memorable experiences.

**Next Shift Available**

  • Saturday 8th of August 2026
  • £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities -

Waiting Staff:

  • Greet and serve guests in hospitality suites, restaurants, or event spaces
  • Take food and drink orders efficiently and professionally
  • Serve meals and beverages with attention to presentation and customer service
  • Clear tables and assist with event setup and breakdown

Bartenders:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Handle payments and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, stocked, and well-presented
  • Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

Kitchen Porters (KPs):

  • Support chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen organisation
  • Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitised
  • Manage waste and stock deliveries
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality is beneficial.
  • A positive attitude and strong team ethic.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and well-presented.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and race days as required.
