Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

  • Welcome guests and take their drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
  • Ensure all drinks are served promptly and accurately, maintaining high quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to alcohol licensing laws
  • Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Engage with guests to enhance their experience, fostering a friendly and inclusive environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender is preferred; restaurant experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bill calculations
  • Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests
  • Personal qualities such as friendliness, professionalism, and a positive attitude
