We specialise in handcrafted, made-to-order nursery furniture and bespoke interiors for discerning families around the world. Known for our timeless aesthetic and personalised service, we are trusted by royalty, celebrities, and design-conscious parents alike.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an elegant and articulate Sales Specialist to join our team on a flexible, zero-hour contract basis.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a retail environment and naturally delivers exceptional service with warmth and discretion.

The Role

In your role as a Sales Specialist, you’ll act as a trusted guide to our clients, helping them select timeless pieces for their nurseries and children's spaces. You’ll be a brand ambassador for The Baby Cot Shop, representing the high standards of our products and the heartfelt care we pour into every customer relationship.

You’ll welcome clients into our Chelsea showroom and Harrods concession, and occasionally support events.

Key Responsibilities

– Welcome and assist clients in the showroom with warmth, poise, and product knowledge

– Guide clients through our collections and bespoke design services

– Support client follow-ups and showroom administration when needed

– Willingly support wider showroom and operational needs as required, including the careful preparation of client orders

– Ensure the showroom is always impeccably presented

– Help nurture long-term relationships that result in return visits and referrals

Your Experience

– Previous experience in luxury retail or client-facing role is preferred

– Naturally polished communication skills with an intuitive understanding of high-end clientele

– A sincere interest in sales, interiors, design, or nursery styling

– Comfortable using POS and CRM systems (training provided)

– Proactive, responsible, and able to work well independently or within a small team

– An eye for visual detail and presentation

Requirements

– Flexibility to work weekdays and occasional weekends, based on business needs

– Ability to commute easily to Chelsea (King’s Road) or Harrods

– Right to work in the UK

What We Offer

– Flexible hours on a zero-hour contract

– Competitive salary plus commission

– Staff discount on luxury products

– A beautifully supportive work environment, rooted in care and craftsmanship

– Product and brand training to ensure you feel confident in your role

– The chance to work closely with a passionate team

– Opportunity to grow with us as we expand our footprint in the luxury lifestyle market
