Full job description

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team, overseeing the end-to-end management of localisation projects for our growing portfolio of international enterprise clients. You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and ensure seamless delivery. Working closely with internal production, linguistic, and technical teams, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence and client satisfaction in a dynamic, international environment.

This is a full-time remote position starting in January 2026. Core working hours are based on UK & Europe time zones, with flexibility depending on client requirements. We offer a comprehensive induction training week and structured onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of projects independently, from setup to delivery, using Sandberg’s systems and tools
  • Assess project requirements, design workflows, and provide tailored solutions to meet client needs
  • Ensure high-quality project deliverables, including QA checks, documentation and client-ready files
  • Maintain and optimise account assets such as TMs, TBs, style guides, briefs and QA reports
  • Collaborate with clients, linguists and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Proactively support linguists, assign suitable resources and manage communication throughout projects
  • Anticipate challenges, identify issues and seek solutions using expertise and internal resources
  • Uphold professional relationships and handle complex or sensitive situations independently
  • Contribute to team success by sharing workload fairly, mentoring junior colleagues and seeking guidance when needed
  • Deliver multiple projects daily while maximising efficiency and profitability in line with company targets

Skills and experience

  • At least 3 years in a similar role
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language
  • Knowledge of localisation industry, software and processes
  • Hands-on experience with various CAT & QA tools (Phrase, MemoQ & Xbench preferred)
  • Strong IT skills, including keyboard skills (typing and use of shortcuts)
  • File engineering and/or coding experience and knowledge would be advantageous
  • Exceptional organisation skills and ability to manage own workload
  • Excellent communication skills – prompt, professional, clear and concise
  • Self-motivated and adaptable
  • Able to analyse, research and learn independently
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
  • Aptitude for identifying new opportunities and sharing them with others
  • Interest in maximising the potential of client accounts and making them successful
