Overview

We’re looking for an Ofsted Inspector for Early Years and Schools to help us strengthen and deliver our training offer for nurseries using PeopleBunch. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our training is accurate, practical, and aligned to what inspectors look for — especially around the EYFS inspection approach and the Early Years Inspection Toolkit.

Responsibilities

  • Create and refine training content (webinars, short courses, slide decks, guides, checklists) aligned to the EYFS and current inspection focus
  • Help shape PeopleBunch’s EYFS Inspection Toolkit guidance inside the platform (what good evidence looks like, how to self-assess and track actions)
  • Deliver live online training (webinars and Q&A sessions) for nursery owners/managers and DSLs
  • Review and improve PeopleBunch resources (e.g. safeguarding, leadership, curriculum intent/implementation/impact, inclusion/SEND, staffing suitability, supervision and training)
  • Provide subject-matter input to our product and customer support teams so our advice stays consistent and high-quality
  • Optionally: contribute to thought leadership (articles, short videos, training packs)

Experience

  • Current Ofsted Inspector or demonstrably strong recent inspection experience in early years leadership or consultancy
  • Confident interpreting and explaining inspection expectations to non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable delivering training live on Zoom or Teams (warm, calm, practical style)
  • Strong written skills: able to turn inspection knowledge into usable tools and guidance
  • Values alignment: child-centred, ethical, supportive of settings, clear about boundaries and evidence

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £100.00-£200.00 per day
